Pink Salt Shed was set up in June 2020 to make incredible pestos (and more) with three key areas of focus:
Values – To offer an honest product that is what it is. To source the best quality ingredients. To produce food with care and passion that has consistency in taste.
Produce – To minimise food waste by ensuring each of our products has multiple uses giving you the best opportunity to use it all. To create all our products with very little processing, ‘healthy & wholesome’ is very important. NO additives, NO preservatives, NO nonsense.
Packaging – To use minimal labelling and ensure all of the packaging is recyclable. The jars (which can be reused), the lids, labels and stickers are all recyclable, even the jute string can go in the compost bucket! The labels are made from FSC certified paper from responsibly managed forests.
